Pastor Smith has served as Senior Minister since June 2002. He attended Washington Bible College, Capital Bible Seminary, and Bethany Theological Seminary He has served in numerous churches both as associate pastor and senior pastor.
Pastor Smith has four children, two sons-in-law, a daughter-in-law, five granddaughters, one grandson, and is married to Susan Cox Smith, his wife of over 37 years.
Pastor Smith believes strongly in the Inspiration and Inerrancy of the Scriptures as well as the Virgin birth of Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, who came as a babe, died on the Cross for the sins of the world, rose on the third day and is seated at the right hand of God. He also believes in the pre-tribulational rapture of the Church and pre-millennial return of Christ.
Pastor Alan has served as the Youth Minister since April 2009. He is currently attending Antietam Bible College where he will be recieving his degree in Pastoral Leadership. He has served as a youth intern for three years and spent a summer as a missionary.
Pastor Alan loves working with people and has a passion for student ministry! He enjoys the outdoors, sports and music!
He believes students are a vital part of the church and should be active in their schools, communities and churches in order to spread the message of Jesus Christ to the lost and dying world around them!
